Conclusion
1. Thermo-grams of pure and amino acids doped KDP crystals suggested
that as the doping increased the crystals became thermally less stable
and dehydrated faster at comparatively lower temperature.
2. The values of kinetic and thermodynamic parameters decreased with
The increase in the level of doping.
3. The higher values of activation energy and standard entropy of
activation suggested more stable condition for pure KDP crystal than
amino acids doped KDP crystals.
4. The positive value of # H o and # S o suggested spontaneous nature of
reaction or phase transition at higher temperature.
5. By doping amino acids in KDP crystals, one faces slight sacrifice in the
thermal stability of crystals.
