Chapter II Solution Growth….
The designing and development of various crystal growth techniques
of the present day is a result of continuous and fruitful modifications occurring
since last several decades and still today the modification process is
continuing. The crystal growth requires emphasis on the following three
aspects.
1. Theory of nucleation and growth
2. Experimental crystal growth
3. Characterization of crystals
Schieber [3] has well explained this in a schematic representation,
which is shown in figure (2.1).
