laborious, tire some and prone to errors and she supported the author throughout
the thesis compilation even from early morning to late evening hours, without
which it would have been difficult for the author to bring the thesis in this shape
easily. The author expresses his special thanks to Shri K.D. Parikh for his
unending support in compilation of some thesis chapters and helping him in
certain data analysis. The author also thanks Dr. Bharat B. Parekh (Pt.
Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar) to help him in designing the
experiments in the early stages.
