Career development 101:
Developing Your Career Map
Chair: François Goulet, Collège des médecins du
Québec, and Karen Leslie, University of Toronto
This bilingual workshop is for faculty across the
career-span continuum.
Participants will be guided through small- and
large-group activities that will provide the
opportunity for reflection on career goals and
the identification of resources and strategies to
promote the achievement of career success and
fulfillment. The workshop will be presented in
bilingual format.
Participants will be able to:
1. Describe their values as they relate to their
professional and personal lives
2. Identify current priorities for their own career
development
3. Develop a career map
4. Identify key goals and plans for the next
one to three years
