Physicians are increasingly using electronic<br />

medical records (EMR) and electronic health<br />

records (EHR) in their clinical settings. How<br />

should we prepare our medical students for<br />

using these electronic tools in practice? This<br />

workshop will feature an EMR sandbox for<br />

faculty and students that was created at the<br />

University of Alberta and an EMR OSCE<br />

developed by the University of British Colombia<br />

and University of Victoria. Presented by the<br />

Leadership Committee of the AFMC-Infoway<br />

Physician in Training e-Health Curriculum and<br />

e-Learning Initiative.<br />
