Physicians are increasingly using electronic
medical records (EMR) and electronic health
records (EHR) in their clinical settings. How
should we prepare our medical students for
using these electronic tools in practice? This
workshop will feature an EMR sandbox for
faculty and students that was created at the
University of Alberta and an EMR OSCE
developed by the University of British Colombia
and University of Victoria. Presented by the
Leadership Committee of the AFMC-Infoway
Physician in Training e-Health Curriculum and
e-Learning Initiative.
