Qualification<br />
CSkills (Construction Skills) NVQ 2 Painting & Decorating<br />
What will I study?<br />
This qualification is based solely on site in your chosen trade area. You will produce and NVQ<br />
portfolio based on the work you complete whilst in employment. Some of the units that you<br />
will complete are:<br />
» Applying Coatings by the Airless Spray Method in the Workplace<br />
» Hanging Standard Paper Wall coverings in the Workplace<br />
There are 6 units in total, some of the above are mandatory units and others are optional.<br />
More information will be available at enrolment. You will be regularly visited on site by a<br />
College assessor who will assist you in gathering the needed evidence to prove competence.<br />
Moving on<br />
All successful students may have the opportunity to progress into self-employment or<br />
progress onto a level 3 NVQ at the college.<br />
