pensaven forjar o, simplement, corbar o doblegar.
sardana. Lloret de Mar.
250 cm alt.
It deals with a basement of timbered cement and with a couple
dancing the Sardana at the top, made on a sheet of stainless
steel. It is clear that the material conditions the shape. In this
case it was already part of the use of some sheets which they
were going to forge or simply curve or bend. The shape, with
edges and strong cuts.
Gave a vibrant treatment and you have a subject often too sweetened
of our folklore. The basement is dedicated to a poem
Joan Maragall about the Sardana dance, and a coat of arms of
Lloret was added around it. Taking full advantage of this basement
of polygonal shape of 12 sides the figures of the dancers
were timbered joined by the hands. This monument looks
towards the Mediterranean Sea.
