És un privilegi poder honorar una taula d’altar d’un temple
romà, on hi ha estampada la firma de l’abat Oliba, aquest home
tan gran per a la nostra història catalana. La meva intervenció
era fer unes columnes en ciment encofrat, en la central de les
quals figuressin les dates 974-1974. Per tant, era fer un recordatori
després de mil anys d’un trajecte que hem de valorar i
mantenir. Haver tingut aquest goig ho prenc com el privilegi
d’haver pogut valorar el que estimo.

It is a privilege to be able to honour an alter table of a roman
temple, where there was stamped the signature of the Abbot
Oliba, this so great man in our Catalan history. My intervention
was to make some columns in timbered cement, in the centre
of which would figure the 974-1974. So, it was making a
record after one thousand years of a direction which we have
to value and maintain. Having had this joy I took it as a privilege
to have been able to value that which I love.
