El tema i l’espai tenen unes característiques que són les que
ajuden a la naixença de l’obra. Un llenç amb la forma típica,
reposada i simbòlica, penjant dels braços de la creu, i la marededéu
asseguda al costat amb expressió de desolació.
S’hi van utilitzar fustes encolades i modelades pel foc, i les raspes
i eines de tall hi van donar la forma. Després vaig donar-hi
el color que em va semblar escaient.

The theme and the space have some of the necessary characteristics
which help with the birth of the work. A canvas with the
typical shape, resting and symbolic, hanging from the arms of
the cross, and the Mother of God sitting to the side with an
expression of desolation. Pieces of wood were used, stuck
together and modelled by the fire, and the rasps and cutting
tools gave them shape. Afterwards, I gave it the colour which
seemed to me appropriate.
