Tant la mida com el material, l’enfocament del tema i les solucions
plàstiques s’han de posar en qüestió, revisar-les, per no
caure en amaneraments tan normals en les imatges religioses.
Aquest estudi en fang cuit preparava l’obra definitiva en talla
de fusta, per ser col·locada en un punt destacat com a mitjancer
entre els fidels i els oficiants.

The size as much as the material, the focus of the subject and
the plastic solutions have to be brought into question, revised,
so as not to fall into mannerisms so common in religious images.
This study in fired earth was preparing for a definitive
work in sculptured wood, to be hung in a visual point mid way
between the faithful and the mass.
