Projecte de deu vitralls emplomats per a la nau de l’església
parroquial.
La nau de l’església té una filera de finestres a la part superior
als dos laterals, est i oest, en nombre de cinc a cada costat.
Aquesta nau fou concebuda per oferir serveis polivalents, és a
dir, per funcionar com a lloc de convivència per a la família
parroquial. En un moment donat es pot tancar la part del presbiteri
i deixar la nau per a altres actes. Crec important remarcar
això perquè els vitralls havien de tenir igualment aquesta doble
funció: d’ambientació de l’espai per als actes religiosos i també
per als altres serveis que s’hi puguin realitzar. Per això em va
semblar apropiat no evocar un tema figuratiu ni de símbols religiosos.

Vitrall emplomat.
Project of two leaded stained glass windows for the nave of the
Parish church. The nave of the church has a file of windows on
the upper part and along the two sides each and west, to the
number of five on each side. This nave was conceived to offer
multifunctional services, that is to say, to function as a place of
gathering for the parish family. In a given moment one can
close part of the presbytery and leave the nave for other activities.
I think it is important to point this out because the stained
glass windows had to have this double function equally: of
orientation of the space for religious acts and also of the other
services which can take place. For this it seemed appropriate
to me not to evoke a figurative theme or religious symbols.
