Chapter —Program Instructions<br />

PRINT KEY ON/OFF<br />

Purpose Statement for enabling or disabling printing of a label by pressing the Print<br />

key.<br />

Syntax PRINT KEY ON|OFF<br />

Default: PRINT KEY OFF<br />

Remarks In the Immediate Mode and in the <strong>Intermec</strong> Direct Protocol, the <br />

key can be enabled to issue printing commands, corresponding to PRINT-<br />

FEED statements. This implies that each time the key is pressed,<br />

one single label, ticket, tag, or portion of continuous stock will be printed<br />

and fed out.<br />

Note that this statement cannot be entered in the Programming Mode (use<br />

KEY ON and ON KEY GOSUB statements instead).<br />

Example This example shows how the Print key is enabled in the <strong>Intermec</strong> Direct<br />

Protocol and a label is printed (abbreviated instructions are used whenever<br />

available):<br />
