One-and Two-Dimensional Bar Codes<br />

Chapter —Bar Codes<br />

On the following pages, a quick survey of the characteristics of some of<br />

the most common one- and two dimensional bar codes will be given.<br />

This information is only intended to help you avoid entering unacceptable<br />

parameters or input data. For further information, please refer to the<br />

standard literature on the subject of bar codes.<br />

For simple bar codes, like EAN and UPC codes, it is recommended to<br />

use separate instructions, whereas for for more complex bar codes like<br />

MicroPDF417 or QR Code, the BARSET statement is required.<br />
