Listing <strong>of</strong> endangered populations <strong>and</strong> ecological communities<br />

In <strong>2007</strong>–<strong>2008</strong> the reference to the Bega Dry Grass Forest in the South East Corner Bioregion <strong>and</strong> the<br />

C<strong>and</strong>elo Dry Grass Forest in the South East Corner Bioregion in Part 3 <strong>of</strong> Schedule 1 <strong>of</strong> the TSC Act<br />

(endangered ecological community) was omitted. This was replaced by a listing <strong>of</strong> the Lowl<strong>and</strong> Grassy<br />

Woodl<strong>and</strong> in the South East Corner as an endangered ecological community on Schedule 1 <strong>of</strong> the TSC<br />

Act. This community is located within the Southern <strong>and</strong> Eden regions.<br />

There was a new listing <strong>of</strong> the Tablel<strong>and</strong> Basalt Forest in the Sydney Basin <strong>and</strong> South Eastern<br />

Highl<strong>and</strong>s Bioregion as an endangered ecological community on Schedule 1 <strong>of</strong> the TSC Act. This<br />

community extends into the Southern region.<br />
