130 Society accreditations What do we ask of a Society? Use this guide as a blueprint. It’s here to help implement our brand, consistently, across your business. Being accurate in the detailing is essential. Practical advice is readily available from Co-operative Brands Ltd. If you are using the Core Elements regularly, check that this guide has not been updated by Co-operative Brands Ltd. Remember the licence agreement. It says that the Core Elements must be implemented as published. Here are some points that describe the mandatory content within the licence agreement.

Societies must ensure that: 1 The appropriate business fascia and projecting signage is installed according to the specifications provided by Co-operative Brands Ltd. 2 The exterior of all businesses must actively demonstrate the brand components through the use of brand messages, based on the recommendations in the visual identity guidelines. 3 Society identification is provided in an appropriate style based on the recommendations in the visual identity guidelines. 4 Any internal or external use of The Co-operative logotype must be based on the recommendations in the visual identity guidelines, or following agreement with Co-operative Brands Ltd.
