not necessarily a symbol or a logotype: it’s how
the organisation is represented to the outside
world. Through this book we refer to the custom
drawn typeface, that embodies our name,
as our logotype. We are a brand with our own
distinct personality, we are unique. We are
The Co-operative. Emphasising ‘The’ leaves
no doubt about who we are. And there’s a
straightforward typographic look, honest and
uncomplicated, to reflect the heart of our
co-operative spirit.
