34 The Co-operative logotype We use two logotypes. There’s one for small sizes and one for medium to large sizes. Whenever the logotype must appear below 25mm in width, use logotype A, and for anything above 25mm, use logotype B. This applies for all uses of the logotype. Size restrictions For impact, and sheer legibility, most logotypes are never allowed to appear below a certain measurement. Ours is no different and the main logotype has a minimum use size of 25mm wide. However there is a specially redrawn version that can be used below that width, which should be carefully specified. The stacked, one-line, redrawn, version should be used under 25mm wide but it should not be used smaller than 15mm. The threeline version can never be used below 12mm. A: 12mm up to 25mm the width of ‘ ’
B: Any size above 25mm. The minimum size of the logotype is always based on the length of ‘The Co-operative’. This rule applies when the logotype sits within brand statements and with Businesses and Activity logotypes. The Co-operative logotype 35
