Paraprofessional<br />
This program offers excellent academic options<br />
for students to enter the growing field of accounting<br />
through degree and certificate programs. The<br />
Bookkeeping Certificate of Accomplishment is designed<br />
to prepare students for employment as fullcharge<br />
bookkeepers. The credits earned for the certificate<br />
may be applied to the degree program. The<br />
Paraprofessional Accounting Certificate of<br />
Achievement emphasizes practical skills for those<br />
who seek early employment but may wish to work<br />
toward a degree later. The Associate in Arts degree<br />
provides a strong background in accounting and<br />
business skills. The degree prepares graduates for<br />
immediate accounting positions and future supervisory<br />
roles in business and government. Students<br />
are given a well-rounded background to allow<br />
rapid advancement to middle management level<br />
within an organization.<br />

Administration<br />
of Criminal Justice<br />
This program is designed for students who plan<br />
to pursue a career in law enforcement, law community<br />
based-social services, and other criminal<br />
justice related fields. The Administration of Criminal<br />
Justice vocational degree is designed for those<br />
who wish to earn a two-year degree and begin pursuing<br />
occupational opportunities in the field of<br />
their choice. Employment opportunities in the<br />
criminal justice field are projected to be strong in<br />
the State of Washington and throughout the nation.<br />
Prospective criminal justice practitioners<br />
should be aware that stringent entry-level requirements<br />
exist. Applicants are encouraged to consult<br />
with an advisor prior to their entry into the program.<br />
