a) QMNEEPn is the Quoted Non Escalable Energy Charges <strong>of</strong> the Contract Year “n” in which<br />

Month “m” occurs expressed in US$/ kWh and is equal to the Quoted Non Escalable Energy<br />

Charges <strong>of</strong> the Contract Year “n” in which Month “m” occurs, as provided in Schedule 8;<br />

and<br />

b) FX shall be the simple average <strong>of</strong> SBI TT buying rate (<strong>for</strong> Rs/ US$) <strong>for</strong> last fifteen<br />

(15) days prior to the first day <strong>of</strong> the Month “m” <strong>for</strong> which such exchange rates are<br />

published by SBI.<br />

occurs, as provided in Schedule 8; and<br />

Handling Charges <strong>of</strong> the Contract Year “n” in which Month “m” occurs, as provided in Schedule<br />

4.2.4 Contract Year Energy Incentive Payment<br />

4.2.4.1 If and to the extent the Availability in a Contract Year exceeds Normative Availability,<br />

an incentive at the rate <strong>of</strong> <strong>for</strong>ty (40%) <strong>of</strong> the Quoted Non Escalable Capacity Charges<br />

(in Rs./kWh) <strong>for</strong> such Contract Year mentioned in Schedule 8 subject to a maximum <strong>of</strong><br />

twenty five (25) paisa /kWh, shall be allowed on the energy (in kWh) corresponding to<br />

the Availability in excess <strong>of</strong> ……. [Insert number (…%)].<br />
