1.3.1 Scope<br />

Standard RFP <strong>for</strong> ….[Insert ‘medium’ or ‘long’, as applicable] term power procurement under Case - 1<br />

This bidding process is being carried out under Case – 1 bidding procedure as<br />

mentioned in the Bidding <strong>Guidelines</strong>, according to which the Bidder is free to choose<br />

any power generation source, any power generation technology and fuel type <strong>for</strong> supply<br />

<strong>of</strong> power. Further, all Bidders shall indicate the source <strong>of</strong> power generation from where<br />

the Contracted Capacity would be delivered and the type <strong>of</strong> fuel which shall be used.<br />

Supply <strong>of</strong> power is permitted from operational power plants or from power plants<br />

proposed to be commissioned on or be<strong>for</strong>e the Scheduled Delivery Date, subject to<br />

availability <strong>of</strong> reliable power over the term <strong>of</strong> the PPA.<br />

Brief scope <strong>of</strong> power procurement is given as under:<br />

Representative shall be free to determine any quantum <strong>of</strong> power as the Minimum Bid Capacity.<br />
