c) In case <strong>of</strong> Injection Point being a Delivery Point, no transmission charges<br />

shall be added.<br />

d) [Insert further in case <strong>of</strong> diurnal load requirement: “The transmission<br />

charges mentioned above in this Clause shall be the full day transmission<br />

charge <strong>for</strong> evaluation as well as actual payment purpose”.]<br />

Rs./MW/day basis, appropriate conversion <strong>of</strong> transmission charges on per kWh based<br />

on Normative Availability shall be carried out be<strong>for</strong>e adding up the same <strong>for</strong><br />

evaluation purpose]<br />

3.4.7 Transmission Loss<br />

The escalated Quoted Tariffs (Rs./kWh) <strong>of</strong> each <strong>of</strong> the Bidders <strong>for</strong> each year <strong>of</strong> the<br />

term <strong>of</strong> the PPA, calculated as per provisions <strong>of</strong> Clause 3.4.4 and after adding<br />

applicable escalated transmission charges, shall then be adjusted <strong>for</strong> the applicable<br />

transmission losses in the following manner:<br />

Adjusted escalated Quoted Tariff (in Rs/ kWh) = escalated Quoted Tariff (in Rs/ kWh<br />

as calculated in Clause 3.4.4 and after adding applicable escalated transmission<br />

charges) * Aggregate Adjustment Factor (AAF):<br />

where,<br />

Aggregate Adjustment Factor (AAF) = (AF)1 * (AF)2 * …… * (AF)n and<br />

Adjustment Factor (AF) = 1/ ((1-applicable transmission loss (in %))/100)<br />

The applicable transmission loss (in %) shall comprise <strong>of</strong><br />

a) the transmission loss (in %) <strong>for</strong> the intrastate transmission link connecting<br />

the Interconnection Point to the Injection Point, if applicable and specified<br />

by the Bidder in Format 4.10; and<br />

b) the applicable normative transmission loss (in %) from the Injection Point to<br />

the Delivery Point <strong>for</strong> the regions involved and as provided in Format 5.11<br />

<strong>of</strong> this RFP<br />

3.4.8 Computing Levelized Tariff<br />

The adjusted escalated Quoted Tariffs (Rs./kWh) as calculated in Clause 3.4.7 above<br />

<strong>for</strong> each Bidder <strong>for</strong> the term <strong>of</strong> PPA, shall then be discounted upto the Scheduled<br />

Delivery Date mentioned in Clause 1.3.1, by applying the discount factors (based on<br />

the Discount Rate as mentioned in Clause 3.4.4 above) and such aggregate discounted<br />

value <strong>for</strong> the term <strong>of</strong> the PPA shall be divided by the sum <strong>of</strong> such discount factors so as<br />

to calculate the Levelized Tariff <strong>of</strong> each Bidder.<br />

The Levelized Tariff shall be calculated by assuming uni<strong>for</strong>mly <strong>for</strong> all Bidders that<br />

power shall get delivered on the Scheduled Delivery Date.<br />
