To export messages in the list to a comma delimited file:
1. Select one or more of the messages to export.
2. Click the Export link.
Quarantines
If you think that a legitimate message has ended up in the quarantine folder, you can
try modifying the scanning criteria and then resending the message. You have two
options in resending such a message:
• Scan and Resend
• Resend (without scanning)
Resending Without Scanning
If you are confident that the message contains no security risks, you can resend it
without rescanning it. Follow the procedure below to resend a quarantined message
without scanning it.
Scanning and Resending
If you think that the appliance has quarantined a message that is legitimate but are not
sure, Trend Micro recommends that you use the Scan and Resend option to safely
remove it from the quarantine folder. When you use this option, the appliance first
scans the message according to your message scanning settings and then attempts to
resend it. Follow the procedure below to scan and resend a quarantined message.
Tip: You can use this feature to fine-tune scan settings for email. Before clicking Scan
and Resend, modify the scan setting that you think resulted in the quarantining
of a legitimate message. Trend Micro recommends using Scan and Resend if there
is any doubt as to the safety of the message.
To resend one or more quarantined messages:
1. Select the check box next to each message to resend.
2. To scan the message again before sending it, click the Scan and Resend link in
the row of action icons and links just below the title row of the query results
table. The appliance scans the message again. If the new scan finds no security
risk in the message, the appliance resends it. If the new scan again finds a
security risk, the appliance takes the action that you have configured in the
