Sustainability Report reflect the independent

specific topic area (environment, employees).
These independent opinions of the external
experts do not necessarily reflect those of
Daimler AG. The external experts base their
statements on the information they receive from
the company as well as on the findings gained
and conclusions reached during their discussions
with individuals from various departments at
Daimler. To this end, the basis for each external
statement is specified in a memorandum of
understanding with the external expert in
question. The organizations or individuals
making the statements are in no way dependent
on Daimler. The authors of the statements are
not remunerated in any way. The company has
merely reimbursed the travel costs that have
accrued in the course of preparing the external
statements.
