Involve the local people and keep an
open dialogue during all stages of
the project as relevant to them
Pay special attention to the directly
involved people along access routes
and at well locations, like the
owners of the land and the “fish
holes”, and farmers and residents
Do not break open roads and dams
without noticing the local users.
Additional measures requested by
the local population are:
Lower fuel prices,
Rehabilitate roads in the area
Look into employment possibilities
for locals
Maintain the sidewalks of the roads
Improve the lights on the roads
