Chapter 2 <strong>Module</strong> Installation<br />
To Connect Optical Cables to <strong>Module</strong><br />
Note: This procedure assumes that the chassis is mounted in a rack.<br />
Important: Observe laser safety precautions. Refer to the Laser Safety information<br />
earlier in this guide.<br />
Complete the following steps for each optical cable to be connected to the module.<br />
1 Attach one end of the optical cable to the optical output connector located on the<br />
front of the module.<br />
2 Route the other end of the optical cable to the appropriate destination.<br />
