The <strong>Partners</strong>hip was <strong>for</strong>med in early 2001 as a means of sharing in<strong>for</strong>mation across<br />

the jurisdictional and political boundaries of the many villages, cities, counties and<br />

states located in the Maumee River watershed. The priority issues were identified as<br />

Agricultural Runoff, Land Use and Urban Sprawl, Point and Nonpoint Source Runoff,<br />

Stream Designations, and Current Regulatory Issues. The organization is co-chaired<br />

by the City of Toledo and the City of Fort Wayne and meets every 4-6 weeks.<br />
