As a part of any final determination
as to depth, core samples of the
Ottawa River would need to be
taken. (5.7.2)

The ownership of the creek bottom in
the lower reach could be claimed by
the States of Ohio and Michigan as
this segment is controlled by the
level of Lake Erie and can be
considered part of Lake Erie.
Therefore, an action would of
necessity include these two
governmental entities. (5.7.2.)
