Vehicle Recovery Guidelines
Refer to the guidelines below when towing to prevent possible
damage:

Vehicle Recovery and Spring Brakes
To connect to the Medium Duty, attach the towing chain or
cable to the tow hook through the access hole in the bumper.
• Use proper towing equipment to prevent damage to the
vehicle.
CAUTION: Connect only to the towing provisions,
as described on the following pages.
Connections to other structural parts could
damage the vehicle. Do not attach to
bumpers or bumper brackets. Use only
equipment designed for this purpose.
• Use a safety chain system.
• Disconnect driveline.
• Follow state/provincial and local laws that apply to vehicles
in tow.
• Do not tow vehicles at speeds in excess of 55 mph
(90 km/h).
• The front tow hook has a maximum working load limit of
26,000 lb. (11,700 kg).

Returning Vehicle to Service
You will have to add lubricant to prevent damage after your
vehicle has been towed.
