Preventive Maintenance<br />
At least every spring, flush these materials from the under<br />
body with plain water. Be sure to clean any area where mud<br />
and other debris can collect. Sediment packed in closed<br />
areas of the frame should be loosened before being flushed.<br />
If desired, your <strong>Peterbilt</strong> Dealer or Authorized Service Center<br />
can do this service for you.<br />
Cleaning Cab Interiors<br />
<strong>Peterbilt</strong> cab and sleeper interiors are built using a variety<br />
of different materials including fabrics, carpet, polyurethane,<br />
and painted plastic surfaces. These cleaning procedures<br />
will ensure that interior components remain in<br />
good condition for the life of the vehicle.<br />

•Cleaning agents may contain hazardous<br />
agents. Thoroughly read, understand and follow<br />
the manufacturer’s instructions when<br />
using a cleaning agent to avoid possible personal<br />
injury and property damage.<br />
• Handle cleaning agents carefully. Keep<br />
them out of the reach of children. Commercial<br />
cleaning agents may be poisonous.<br />
CAUTION: To avoid possible property damage<br />
• Do not spray any kind of liquid directly at<br />
instruments or controls. Apply cleaner to a<br />
rag first and then clean instruments and<br />
gauges. Excess fluid may damage the use<br />
and function of instruments and gauges.<br />
