STEERING COLUMN AND MIRRORS<br />

Introduction<br />

This section covers the standard steering column controls<br />

and mirror operation. Depending on how your <strong>Medium</strong> <strong>Duty</strong><br />

is configured, some or all of these features are installed on<br />

your vehicle.<br />

Turn Signal/High Beam Switch<br />

NOTE: The ignition key must be turned to IGN &<br />

ACC for the signal/switch to operate.<br />

The lever-action turn signal/high beam switch is located on<br />

the left side of the steering column.<br />

Turn Signals<br />

• To signal a right turn, push the lever up (clockwise).<br />

• To signal a left turn, push the lever down (counterclockwise).<br />

High Beam<br />

NOTE: The headlights must be “ON” for the high<br />

beam switch to operate.<br />

• To switch your headlights to lower or higher beam, push<br />

and release the button on the end of the turn signal stalk.<br />

The blue indicator light in the instrument panel will be ON<br />

when the high beam is being used.<br />

• To return to previous beam: push and release the button<br />

again.<br />
