Operating Instructions
WARNING! Do not carry additional fuel containers
in your vehicle. Fuel containers, either full or
empty, may leak, explode, and cause or feed a
fire. Do not carry extra fuel containers, even
empty ones are dangerous.
WARNING! Diesel fuel in the presence of an ignition
source (such as a cigarette) could cause an
explosion. You could be seriously injured. A
mixture of gasoline or alcohol with diesel fuel
increases this risk of explosion.
•Do not remove a fuel tank cap near an open
flame.
•Use only the fuel and/or additives recommended
for your engine.
Shut–Down
Specification: Use only Diesel Fuel, Grade 2–D, as recommended
by engine manufacturers. If you need further information
on Grade 2–D fuel specifications, consult the Engine
Operation and Maintenance Manual.
Location of Fuel Shut–Off Valves
If your vehicle is equipped with shut-off valves for the take-off
and return lines, they are located on the fuel lines entering
the top of the fuel tank. Fuel shut-off valves for the fuel crossover
line are on the bottom of the fuel tank, at the crossover
line connection.
