He glances at a photograph of a handsome man in a military<br />
uniform on the mantelpiece; his dead father.<br />
EXT. BATTERSEA PARK - EARLY MORNING.<br />
COLLETTE and RYAN stand by a shed.<br />
RYAN<br />
When you ran from the scene, you<br />
came here. It was too dangerous<br />
to call in because the whole city<br />
was crawling with cops.<br />
RYAN takes her arm and leads her gently away.<br />
INT. THE BACK SEAT OF A CAR - BATTERSEA PARK - A FEW<br />
MINUTES LATER<br />
He hands her a sheet of paper.<br />
RYAN<br />
Memorise the number, then burn<br />
it. If there’s anything, call in.<br />
Your code name is SHADOW DANCER.<br />
COLLETTE stares out of the window.<br />
RYAN (CONT’D)<br />

He hands over a piece of metal and plastic half the size of<br />
a golf ball.<br />
RYAN (CONT’D)<br />
It’s an emergency bleep. Hide it<br />
well. If you press the button,<br />
half the world will come running.<br />
She takes it, but continues to gaze out of the window.<br />
RYAN (CONT’D)<br />

She turns to face him, looks at the photograph he’s holding<br />
up.<br />
COLLETTE<br />

look after him when he was baby.<br />
RYAN<br />
