INT. BOOK-SHOP - CAMDEN - CONTINUOUS.<br />
A frumpy middle-aged woman in reception nods at him, but he<br />
ignores her and plunges down the back stairs to a small<br />
basement.<br />
Standard lamps, photographs, the smell of glue...a forgers<br />
paradise. On a stool, MAX CAMPBELL; chain-smoking, fifties,<br />
half-German, half-Irish. He looks over his half-rimmed<br />
glasses.<br />
CAMPBELL<br />
Your Gerry’s man?<br />
MCILLHATTON<br />
I was told no names.<br />
CAMPBELL rolls his eyes. Kids. MCILLHATTON tips the stolen<br />
pass onto the table, along with photographs of GERRY and<br />
COLLETTE. CAMPBELL looks at them.<br />
CAMPBELL<br />
Good lookin’ bird. Who is she?<br />
MCILLHATTON<br />
You don’t need to know.<br />
CAMPBELL<br />
(shaking his head)<br />
Two days. And make sure you have<br />
the cash. You can remind our<br />
Gerry that I’m not a bloody<br />
charity.<br />
INT. COLLETTE’s HOME - EARLY MORNING.<br />
COLLETTE lies awake. Both MARK and CATHERINE are snuggled<br />
beside her, fast asleep. All is quiet.<br />
We hold it long.<br />
Too long.<br />
There’s a distant rumble, then...<br />
CRASH CUT TO:<br />
EXT. COLLETTE’S STREET - A SPLIT SECOND LATER<br />
The dawn calm is broken as a convoy of armored Land Rovers<br />
tears around the corner. Armed officers tip out.<br />
ALLEN and RYAN are behind them. They hang back as the<br />
uniforms sledgehammer COLLETTE’s front door...
