He’s been hassling Collette.
GERRY
He’s doing his job.
PADDY
Bollocks. He’s a leadership
stooge trying to shit in your
back-yard.
GERRY
He’s just sniffin’ around.
PADDY
Our sister.
GERRY doesn’t look like he wants to get involved.
GERRY
He smoked out Gingy Hughes in
Tyrone, so now he has a free hand
up here. That’s the right call.
It’s the way it has to be.
PADDY
You can be a naive bastard, d’
you know that? We’ve been telling
them there’s a tout high up for
years. So how come they decide
now’s the time for another mole
hunt?
For a moment -- the briefest of heartbeats -- Gerry looks
like he’s wondering why his brother is asking these
questions. But the shadow passes.
PADDY (CONT’D)
They’re shitting their pants
there’s gonna’ be a fight. And

they’ll need a way to stitch you
