INT. THE FRONT SEAT OF GINGY’S CAR - NIGHT<br />
GINGY HUGHES is spinning down the road to that pavilion<br />
again, but he’s not pleased about it. He parks ups and<br />
bristles as he marches inside.<br />
INT. THE PAVILION - SOUTH ARMAGH - CONTINUOUS.<br />
It sure is dark in here, but nothing assuages GINGY’s<br />
anger.<br />
GINGY<br />
I told you not to use that--<br />
A torch-light flicks on. It illuminates the ghoulish face<br />
of KEVIN MULGREW, the IRA’s new head of Internal Security.<br />
MULGREW.<br />
Good evening, Gingy. You’se<br />
expecting someone else?<br />
GINGY<br />
(stunned)<br />
No...no.<br />
GINGY turns to run, but it’s too late. MULGREW’S men have<br />
the place surrounded.<br />
INT. MI5 HEADQUARTERS - THE CHIEF’S OFFICE - NIGHT<br />
RYAN stands in the centre of the room. His boss ALAN<br />
BUCHANAN looks down upon the dark waters of the Thames. He<br />
moves behind his desk and pours two tumblers of whisky. He<br />
hands one to RYAN and they touch glasses.<br />
BUCHANAN<br />
Congratulations.<br />
RYAN<br />
Thank you, sir.<br />
BUCHANAN<br />
The trap was well set. You travel<br />
in the morning?<br />
Yes.<br />
RYAN<br />
RYAN waits. He didn’t get asked up here for a pat on the<br />
back.
