The college offers both associate degrees and certificates in multimedia<br />
through the Art Department. If you plan to transfer to a baccalaureate<br />
institution you should consider the associate of general<br />
studies. The certificate program and associate of applied science<br />
degree prepares the student to enter the workforce upon graduation.<br />

Graphics and Animation Technology<br />
The Graphics and Animation emphasis within the Multimedia<br />
Technology Department prepares students for work in the traditional<br />
graphic design and printing industries. Students use the computer for<br />
electronic production and basic design techniques. In addition to printed<br />
graphics, students produce Web pages, multimedia presentations exploring<br />
digital video editing, QuickTime streaming, 3-D modeling and animation,<br />
and other cutting edge technology.<br />

Production and Design Technology<br />
The Production and Design emphasis within the Multimedia<br />
Technology Department prepares students for work in various multimedia<br />
arenas including; informational kiosks, corporate and educational<br />
training, interactive games and interactive CD-ROM production.<br />
Students are exposed to many other exciting aspects of multimedia production<br />
such as sound and digital editing, Web page and site design and<br />
production and motion graphics.<br />
