Primary Playback<br />
Theplaybackwhichwhenthereisatie<strong>in</strong>try<strong>in</strong>gtobecomeactivewillw<strong>in</strong>.<br />
Standby Playback<br />
The playback which will rema<strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong> a standby state should both systems attempt to become active at the<br />
same time.<br />
Active Playback<br />
The playback (primary or standby) which is currently send<strong>in</strong>g feedback, process<strong>in</strong>g display actions, logg<strong>in</strong>g<br />
payload <strong>in</strong>formation, and is outputt<strong>in</strong>g video to the Display.<br />
Inactive Playback<br />
The playback (primary or standby) which is actively render<strong>in</strong>g all content that the primary is but is perform<strong>in</strong>g<br />
the operations <strong>in</strong> a mode where it is ready to take over all functions of the primary should the primary<br />
fail.<br />
Redundant Pair<br />
A set of playback systems configured as Primary and Standby Playbacks which control a s<strong>in</strong>gle display.<br />
