7.3.2 RSS feed manager<br />

Overview<br />

• Problem delet<strong>in</strong>g RSS feeds when the same feed exists more than once.<br />

• RTD does not start after <strong>in</strong>stall<strong>in</strong>g a webcam<br />

7.3.2.1 Problem delet<strong>in</strong>g RSS feeds when the same feed exists more than once.<br />

Description<br />

When an RSS feed is created more than one time with other capitalization. Try to delete one of those<br />

creation. An exception is thrown. When try<strong>in</strong>g to delete the second feed, this <strong>in</strong>stance is not deleted.<br />

Cause<br />

Duplicated RSS feeds.<br />

Solution<br />

Currently now solution for it. Try to avoid <strong>in</strong> the future to create twice the same RSS feed.<br />

7.3.2.2 RTD does not start after <strong>in</strong>stall<strong>in</strong>g a webcam<br />

Description<br />

Install the webcam and the driver for it on the RTD mach<strong>in</strong>e. Reboot the mach<strong>in</strong>e as required after the<br />

driver <strong>in</strong>stallation.<br />

Try to restart RTD management. Restart fails<br />

Cause<br />

The <strong>in</strong>stallation of a webcam creates another local area connection with a bad IP address.<br />

Solution<br />

Reboot the PC aga<strong>in</strong>.<br />

7.3.3 RS232 Templates<br />

Overview<br />

• MP70 onl<strong>in</strong>e conflicts when mouse driver is <strong>in</strong>stalled on same COM port<br />

• Newly <strong>in</strong>stalled MP70 device only visible after PC reboot<br />

Description<br />

The mouse po<strong>in</strong>ter is behav<strong>in</strong>g strangely and jumps/selects around. When disconnect<strong>in</strong>g the mouse, the<br />

cursor keeps jump<strong>in</strong>g around.<br />

Cause<br />

When boot<strong>in</strong>g the computer with the MP70 switched on, the computer <strong>in</strong>terprets it as a serial mouse. That<br />

means that the computer recognizes 2 mouses what causes the cursor jumps on the display.<br />

Solution<br />

Try one of the follow<strong>in</strong>g solutions:<br />
