7.2.3.1 Excessive CPU usage (100%) <strong>in</strong> text edit mode<br />
Description<br />
Excessive CPU usage occurs when creat<strong>in</strong>g a new text item <strong>in</strong> a message and switch<strong>in</strong>g that text item<br />
<strong>in</strong>to edit mode. When the mouse po<strong>in</strong>ter is on that text item, the CPU usage jumps to 100%.<br />
Cause<br />
This can happen with some graphics chip sets and is depend<strong>in</strong>g how DirectX is copy<strong>in</strong>g bits.<br />
That problem does not occur with the specified hardware.<br />
Solution<br />
In sysconfig.xml, settheforce_w<strong>in</strong>dow_stretch parameter to true.<br />

7.2.3.2 The preview of a scene that conta<strong>in</strong>s a video item has an offset of 10<br />
seconds after dropp<strong>in</strong>g an empty scene <strong>in</strong> front of it.<br />
Description<br />
The video item can be previewed with a delay of 10 seconds <strong>in</strong> the follow<strong>in</strong>g case:<br />
• Create a scene with an embedded video item (duration > 10 seconds).<br />
• Enlarge the duration to e.g. 5 m<strong>in</strong>utes (default behavior: loop video item)<br />
• Add a new scene and drag and drop that scene just before the scene withthevideoitem.<br />
• Select now the scene that conta<strong>in</strong>s that video item. The preview is positioned at the beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g of that<br />
scene.<br />
The preview of the video has an offset of 10 seconds (equal to the length of the empty scene).<br />
