Rural Development Programes for “Samurdhi”<br />

Recipients<br />

The “Gami Pubuduwa”, “Jana Pubuduwa” Programes<br />

designed to empower the “Samurdhi” recipients through<br />

community livelihood development <strong>and</strong> micro enterprise<br />

development were strengthened at a cost <strong>of</strong> Rs 920 million<br />

in <strong>2008</strong>.<br />
