The Inter-Club Council is the student-led group charged by the <strong>Student</strong><br />

Campus Events Organization<br />
Campus Events Organization, a student-run organization, provides students with<br />
opportunities to expand their horizons and have fun by attending lectures and<br />
listening to musicians, or attending a concert, comedy event, or a wide range of<br />
student-initiated programs. <strong>Student</strong> events are planned by the Campus Events<br />
Organization (ceo@sbc.edu) with advising and support from the Director of<br />
<strong>Student</strong> Involvement and Programs.<br />
Late Night Programming<br />
The Office of <strong>Student</strong> Involvement and Programs co-sponsors many late night<br />
programs throughout the year. Clubs, organizations, campus offices—and<br />
individual students—can apply and may be selected to host an event. It is<br />
preferred that events take place on a Saturday night and all must be alcohol-free,<br />
with any theme of their choosing. For more information, please visit the Office<br />

The <strong>Student</strong> Business Office<br />
The <strong>Student</strong> Government Association (www.sga.sbc.edu) administers the<br />
student life fee. The budget committee of the <strong>Student</strong> Government Association<br />
distributes funds to recognized clubs and organizations, and other student<br />
operated initiatives. These funds are held in on-campus accounts and are<br />
managed by the <strong>Student</strong> Business Office (SBO) with guidance from the<br />
Coordinator of Campus <strong>Student</strong> Employment. For more information, please go<br />

<strong>Student</strong> Facilities<br />
<strong>Sweet</strong> <strong>Briar</strong> <strong>College</strong> has numerous facilities available to all students. All student<br />
facilities can be reserved at no cost through the on-line <strong>College</strong> Event Planning<br />
system at: https://my.sbc.edu/.<br />
The Boathouse<br />
The <strong>Sweet</strong> <strong>Briar</strong> Boathouse is situated on one of the <strong>College</strong>’s two campus<br />
lakes. The Boathouse is the site for many private student programs or parties and<br />
is available to all students for use. <strong>Student</strong>s should contact Gloria Smith<br />
(gsmith@sbc.edu) in Co-Curricular Life to reserve the Boathouse.<br />
Fitness and Athletic Center (FAC)<br />
The Fitness and Athletic Center is a popular wellness resource for all students<br />
which offers a field house, indoor track, fitness equipment, spinning room,<br />
racquetball and squash courts, recreation and game lounges, indoor pool and<br />
