Article III: Membership<br />
The members of the <strong>Sweet</strong> <strong>Briar</strong> <strong>College</strong> Tap Club Council are the following, in<br />
alphabetical order:<br />
Aint’s & Asses Paint and Patches<br />
BAM<br />
QV’s<br />
Bum Chums<br />
<strong>Sweet</strong> Tones<br />
Chung Mungs<br />
Taps N Toes<br />
Earphones<br />
Tau Phi<br />
Falls on Nose<br />
The number of Tap Clubs on campus is limited to 12. As enrollment grows, the<br />
number of Tap Clubs may be increased commensurate with the number of<br />
students on campus. Therefore, should enrollment reach 1200 students; the<br />
number of allowed tap clubs will be raised to 14.<br />
All Tap Clubs shall act in accordance with the rules and policies stated in the<br />
Inter-Club Council Constitution.<br />
All members of the SBC Tap Club Council and in tap clubs shall act in<br />
accordance with the rules and polices stated in the Policy on Hazing and<br />
Standards of Group Behavior.<br />
Membership in this council is open to all members of Tap Clubs at <strong>Sweet</strong> <strong>Briar</strong><br />
<strong>College</strong> regardless of race, national origin, religion, sexual preference, or<br />
disability.<br />
The President and a Representative of every Tap Club should be present at every<br />
meeting (attendance is mentioned under Article VII.2). Both the President and<br />
Representative of every Tap Club will be voted into office by the said club.<br />
Article IV: Tap Club Executive Board<br />
1. The Inter-Club Council President will hold an emeritus status. The ICC<br />
president will be invited by the Tap Club Council to attend certain meetings<br />
throughout the year, to give the Tap Club Council general information from<br />
ICC.<br />
2. The officers of the SBC Tap Club Council shall be known as the Tap Club<br />
Council Executive Board.<br />
3. The Tap Club Council Executive Board shall include the ICC President, Tap<br />
Club Council President, Tap Club Council Secretary.<br />
4. The officers shall serve one year terms, from April to April.<br />
5. The Tap Club Council President and Tap Club Council Secretary must be an<br />
active member in a Tap Club. The Tap Club Council President and Secretary<br />
cannot represent the same Tap Club.<br />
a. If the Tap Club Council President can no longer fulfill her duties then she<br />
will be replaced in accordance to ICC's policy on chairs. If the Tap Club<br />
Council Secretary can no longer fulfill her duties then the Tap Club<br />
Council will hold an emergency election within the current Tap Club<br />
Council. The newly elected officer will win with a 2/3-majority vote.<br />
