Duties and Eligibility of Tap Club Council Executive Officers<br />

1. President<br />

a. Eligibility<br />

i. Serves as a Tap Club President.<br />

ii. Must be an active member of a Tap Club.<br />

b. Will be the Inter-Club Council Tap Club Chair voting member.<br />

i. Will be elected by a 2/3 majority of ICC for the year from April to<br />

April.<br />

c. Duties<br />

i. Shall preside over all regular and special Tap Club Council<br />

meetings.<br />

ii. Be the active liaison between students, faculty, administration and<br />

the Tap Clubs.<br />

iii. Meet often with the ICC Advisor.<br />

iv. Sit on the Inter-Club Council Executive Board.<br />

v. Events<br />

1. Work with the Tap Club Council Secretary to plan an<br />

educational/social event for the first year class annually.<br />

2. Work with the Tap Club Council Secretary to sponsor or cosponsor<br />

an anti-hazing educational event each semester.<br />

2. Tap Club Council Secretary<br />

a. Eligibility--must be an active member of a Tap Club.<br />

b. Voting--Will be elected by a 2/3 majority of all active members of<br />

the Tap Club Council for the year spanning April to April.<br />

3. Duties<br />

i. Serves as Tap Club Council Secretary.<br />

ii. Takes minutes and sends out email reminders to Tap Club Council<br />

members and the student body.<br />

1) Including sending minutes to the ICC President and Advisor.<br />

4. Meet with the ICC Advisor as necessary.<br />

5. Serves as Tap Club Council President at a Tap Club Council meeting, in<br />

the event the President is unable to do so.<br />

6. Events<br />

i. Work with the Tap Club Council President to plan an<br />

educational/social event for the first year class annually.<br />

ii. Work with the Tap Club Council President to sponsor or co-sponsor<br />

an anti-hazing educational event each semester.<br />

Article V: Meetings<br />

The Tap Club Council shall hold at least one regular meeting monthly,<br />

preferably after the Inter-Club Council meeting the first Monday of every<br />

month.<br />

The Tap Club Council shall be governed by Robert’s Rules of Order Newly<br />

Revised.<br />

Two-thirds of the Tap Club Council shall constitute a quorum for the<br />

transactions of business.<br />
