Hardy Frames introduced the first standardized,<br />
pre-manufactured Moment<br />
Frame in 2006. Since then we have produced<br />
thousands of Moment Frames that<br />
have been successfully installed. These<br />
Moment Frames have maximum structural<br />
capacities combined with the open<br />
architectural aesthetics that designers<br />
and architects need today.<br />
Hardy Frame Moment Frames are<br />
Special Moment Resisting Frames<br />
(SMRF) that use the pre-qualified<br />
SidePlate moment connection. Typically,<br />
our Moment Frames are delivered to the<br />
jobsite in one-piece, completely fabricated<br />
and ready to be installed with no<br />
assembly, no field welding and no special<br />
inspection required.<br />
On production framing jobs the Hardy<br />
Frame Moment Frame can’t be beat. We<br />
have delivered truckload quantities of up<br />
to 30 Moment Frames that were installed<br />
in a single day. That is an accomplishment<br />
that can not be matched by conventional<br />
moment frames.<br />

We offer over 300 standard dimension<br />
Moment Frames, but we don’t stop there.<br />
We also offer calculations and solutions<br />
for sizes that are beyond the scope of our<br />
standard listing. We commonly provide<br />
solutions for two-story and multi-story<br />
frames as well as for fixed based connections.<br />
Please note that standard dimensions<br />
can be adjusted without being treated<br />
as a “Custom Order”. Our typical lead<br />
time of 3-4 weeks does not increase and<br />
neither does your cost.<br />
Moment Frame<br />
Template Kits<br />
Template Kits are included with the purchase<br />
of the Hardy Frame Moment<br />
Frame and are a stock item that can be<br />
shipped within one business day. The<br />
Kit includes all embed anchors, nuts,<br />
washers and Templates so the concrete<br />
pour can proceed prior to the Moment<br />
Frame delivery. Correctly locating the<br />
anchors is easy with a slot provided in<br />
the Template to measure the “Win”,<br />
(inside steel-to-steel) dimension.<br />
