Heavy-Duty Face Mount Hangers – HD series<br />
HD hangers are heavy-duty face mount hangers that can be<br />
used to support headers, joists, and trusses.<br />
Materials: 14 gauge<br />
Finish: G90 galvanizing<br />
Options: HD28-2IF, HD210-2IF, HD210-3IF, HD44IF,<br />
HD46, HD46IF, HD48, HD48IF, HD410,<br />
HD410IF, HD412, HD412IF, HD68, HD68IF,<br />
HD610, HD610IF, HD612 & HD612IF are<br />
available in Triple Zinc. To order, add TZ to<br />
stock number, as in HD28-2IFTZ.<br />
HD210-2IF is available in Stainless Steel. To<br />
order, add SS to stock number,<br />
as in HD210-2IFSS.<br />
All nominal lumber sizes are available<br />
rough/full size lumber. See Specialty Options<br />
Chart.<br />
Codes: Load values are derived from data submitted to<br />
various North American building code<br />
evaluators.<br />
<strong>Installation</strong>:<br />
• Use all specified fasteners. See Product <strong>Notes</strong>, page 10.<br />
• Some HD models feature nail holes along bend line that must<br />
be filled to achieve factored resistance. Verify proper<br />
header width to accomplish this for inverted models.<br />

1) Skewed hangers with skews greater than 15° may have all joist nailing on outside flange.<br />
2) Sloped or sloped / skewed hangers with slopes greater than 15° may have additional joist nails.<br />
3) All sloped, skewed, or combinations require bevel cut on joist in all applications and web stiffeners with I-joists.<br />
4) Modifications of HD hangers may be manufactured as hot rolled, welded, or primed.<br />
Inverted Flange Hangers – HDQIF series<br />
HDQIF inverted flange hangers install with wood screws eliminating<br />
the need to drill bolt holes simplifying installation.<br />
