Syntax<br />

:MEASure:VRMS <br />

Description<br />

Query the RMS value of the amplitude of the selected waveform.<br />

Explanation<br />

The unit depends on the unit of the source channel (refer to<br />

the :CHANnel:UNITs command).<br />

Return Format<br />

The query returns the measurement result in scientific notation.<br />

Example<br />

:MEASure:VRMS CHANnel1<br />

The query returns 1.385354e+00.<br />

You can use the following commands to query the statistic maximum, minimum,<br />

current value, average and standard deviation of the RMS values of the amplitude of<br />

the selected waveform. Sending the following commands will enable the statistic<br />

function automatically.<br />

• :MEASure:VRMS:SMAXimum<br />

• :MEASure:VRMS:SMINimum<br />

• :MEASure:VRMS:SCURrent<br />

• :MEASure:VRMS:SAVerage<br />
