MALPRACTICE INSURANCE Applicants hired under a PSA into State Department medical positions are employees of the US Government, so they are covered for malpractice indemnification. M/MED is the point of contact for questions on malpractice indemnification.
PRIVACY ACT OF 1974 Forms and documents used under the Local Employment Policy are subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act. Forms and documents are available for review as required by appropriate management officials having a need to know. US Social Security numbers are personal information subject to the general protections of the Privacy Act. The point of contact for questions regarding the privacy act is A/RPS/IPS.
