Location: Galleta - Alkali Sacaton Herbaceous <strong>Vegetation</strong> was located throughout the park <strong>and</strong> project<br />
environs. This map class was most abundant in the central <strong>and</strong> southern parts of the park <strong>and</strong> was more<br />
abundant in both size <strong>and</strong> number of map units in the park environs than inside the park boundary. It was<br />
often found on s<strong>and</strong>y soils.<br />
Photosignature: This photosignature had a smooth texture <strong>and</strong> depending on its cover, the color appeared<br />
as a green to grayish color. This map class was difficult to distinguish from the other herbaceous<br />
map classes <strong>and</strong> was most commonly identified from the field data collection <strong>and</strong> extrapolated from these<br />
locations. This type commonly occurred in areas adjacent to the Four-wing Saltbush / Galleta Shrubl<strong>and</strong>.<br />
