B26 Rubber Rabbitbrush / Blue Grama Shrub Herbaceous <strong>Vegetation</strong><br />
Location: Rubber Rabbitbrush / Blue Grama Shrub Herbaceous <strong>Vegetation</strong> occurred in the northwestern<br />
<strong>and</strong> north central sections of the mapping area. It was with heavily abundant in the neck of the mapping<br />
area <strong>and</strong> scattered throughout the southern half of the mapping area. It commonly occurred on s<strong>and</strong><br />
dunes, in disturbance areas, or on terraces.<br />
Photosignature: This map class was distinguished by the small, green, speckled appearance of Ericameria<br />
nauseosa <strong>and</strong> the moderate herbaceous cover. The herbaceous cover tended to have a light brown/yellowish<br />
hue with a patchy distribution. Bouteloua gracilis likely is a dominant component to the herbaceous<br />
understory; however, it could not be distinguished from the other herbaceous cover on the imagery.<br />
