Those, towhom the Torah was sent, knew about the intended meaning onlyfrom the Gospel… as, what the Torah hinted, the Gospel declaredand explained.” 1One wonders, why did Allah (S.W) conceal the Trinity from Moses(PBUH) and the Israelites? Why did He deceive them with manymonotheistic passages, which made them rebel against the Trinityand deny it? Will He forgive them and others, for not finding the realmeaning in these puzzles?Scholars thought about the Christians’ claim, found it deceitful,unacceptable by intelligent minds, and it does not fit with the realmeaning of the context. What these passages indicate are multiplegods, without specification of three or four.The plurals mentioned in the Torah, (Eloheem, Let us, we descend,etc.) are for glorification, as nations are accustomed to talk of theirgreat people using plural verbs. One may say, “we, we believe, weordered”, meaning himself. The listener understands that he istalking about himself, and not himself and others.It is common to use plurality for glorification, even in the Holy Bible.There are many examples, such as the woman, the fortune-teller,who saw Samuel’s spirit after his death; she talked about him usingthe plural form. The Torah says, “When the woman saw Samuel,she cried out with a loud voice. And the woman said toSaul, "I saw gods ascending out of the earth.” He said toher, "What is his appearance?" And she said, "An old manis coming up, and he is wrapped in a robe." And Saul knewthat it was Samuel.” (Samuel (1) 28/12-14 KJV). She was talkingabout Samuel, and even though she saw him as an old man, shetalked of him in the plural (gods). Thus plurality does not necessarilyindicate multiple numbers; it means glorification.When the Children of Israel worshipped the calf, it was one, whichthe Torah mentions as plural three times. “And he received thegold from their hand and fashioned it with a graving tooland made a golden calf.
